  1. Greetings. Gina Mazza here from Art in the Burbs. I hope this email finds you well.

I found your work on the Oregon Glass Guild website. Your glass work is absolutely beautiful. So vibrant!. Given that you don’t offer sale prices on your website, I’m assuming your work is higher end and realistically not a potential artist for our October show.

HOWEVER, I wanted to make you aware we opened up our 2017 artist applications in March. I’m expressing my interest in having you apply for our juried show, should you feel you are a competitive artist for our show. The deadline for artist applications is May 15, 2017.

You can get a feel of our show from our website, http://www.artintheburbs.org.

IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH OUR SHOW, PLEASE NOTE: we are moving to a two-day show for 2017 – Saturday, Oct.14th, 10-7 & Sunday, Oct.15th, 10-5

Art in the Burbs is an indoor show and draws approximately 3,000-3,500 customers.

Our 2017 show will be located once again at Tigard High School with 12,000 sq ft of carpeted space in the main gym. This was an excellent 2016 site for us. It’s centrally located, has terrific drive-by traffic and there are sports activities going on in other parts of the campus which brings more people to our show.

One of the things our returning artists consistently rave about is our amazing volunteer support, which among other things, help our artists load in and out of the show. We also provide central checkout (no credit card fees for you) as well as food carts and an artist lounge. We continue to offer 8×8’ and 10×10’ booth spaces.

If I have peaked your interest to apply, please reply back if I can answer any other questions.
I also strongly suggest that if you are interested in applying that you read through our Show Information and Artist FAQ, located under the Artist Tab on our website.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
    Best,
    Gina Mazza
