I have worked in fused glass design for over 5 years. I created a beautiful amber irid glass back splash for my kitchen. I am flexible in creating what you need. We can work together to make something wonderful
After a very cold and wet winter, it seems we have hopped right into summer locally. The beauty of the outdoors is an inspiration as well as a challenge for my art. There are always many things to do in the garden and I have to remember the art shows are coming up as well as the flowers!
*OPEN STUDIOS OF BEAVERCREEK FRIDAY,SATURDAY,SUNDAY JUNE 9-11 10AM-5PM*
I really enjoyed The Sip in McMinnville (see my last post) and was pleased to meet Nancy Morrow, the co-owner ( with her husband Dan Morrow) of The Gallery at Ten Oaks 801 SW Baker St, McMinnville, OR. She invited me to paticipate as an artist at their gallery. I am pleased to say I just delivered 10 pieces to their gallery today! If you get a chance, go visit this beautiful place.
What a great weekend. Fun show in a unique environment of The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. SIP has been an annual event for 24 years, put it on your calendar for March 2018. Keep checking in for future shows and galleries!
I took a little down time in my glass making but am getting excited and recharged now. I had some of my pieces photographed by an awesome local photographer Dan Kvitka. Google his name and you will be in for a treat. I realized I needed a pro to take pictures for the juried art shows I want to enter ( iPhones just don’t do it).
I keep trying to stretch myself creatively. With glass that sometimes means full trash cans. But without failures, how do I grow? I have to be happy with what I do.
So, I will let you know when I find out in what shows I will take part. For now, I will continue to create, enjoy and stretch! Peace, Carol Bresky email@example.com
